This was for a garden near Cardiff, one of the wettest sites that we have ever worked on, which, as a soft landscaping, planting, project, caused endless problems for the team led by Foreman Dave Newns, along with Tom Humphreys, Jake Turley and Ryan Mitchell.

The stunning new build house, required a softer setting to show it off at it’s best, and to take some of the focus away from the large pool in the rear garden.

The driveway was also re-shaped to make more space and take away some hard edges.

The other 2 gardens won awards in the Domestic Gardens Construction £ 100- £250k, and the over £ 250k category, but these 2 categories were heavily over represented, with the overall winning garden coming in at over £ 2.5 million, so, difficult to compete with.

This makes a staggering total of 51 National BALI Awards for Graduates and is a fitting end to our 50^th anniversary celebrations.
