The customer in Battledown, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, had two unused swimming pools, both in a dilapidated state.

One was turned into a sunken sitting area with a water rill, flowing over a blade into a pool.

The whole area, including the stepping stones over the rill, has been surfaced with limestone paving, which is set off beautifully by the older brickwork.
